In Alquife you’ll find a Covirán for daily groceries. For a wider selection, you can go to Guadix, where you’ll find a Mercadona, Lidl and Aldi . Every Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00 there is also a lively weekly market in Guadix, ideal for fresh produce and local specialities.

Hiking
You can take a peaceful walk around the property or explore short and longer hiking routes in the immediate area. If you’re travelling by car, you can also drive to places such as Puerto de la Ragua and other starting points, where various beautiful hiking trails begin.
Negratín Reservoir (Embalse del Negratín)
The Embalse del Negratín is a large, bright blue reservoir set within a striking landscape of rocks and badlands. It’s a beautiful place for relaxation and light adventures, just about an hour’s drive from La Balsa.
