- Your reservation is confirmed after the deposit has been received.

Cancellation & Payment Policy
At La Balsa, we value clarity and hospitality. We want you to reserve with peace of mind — therefore we keep our conditions as clear and fair as possible.
In short
- A reservation is confirmed with a 30% deposit
- The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival
- After that, partial or full cancellation fees apply
- We operate without a security deposit, based on mutual trust

Reservation & Payment
- Your reservation becomes final upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total stay.
- The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 14 days before arrival.
- If you book less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Cancellation – because plans sometimes change
We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. The following conditions apply:
- Up to 30 days before arrival
✔ Free cancellation
✔ Full refund of the deposit - Between 30 and 14 days before arrival
✔ 50% of the total stay will be charged - Less than 14 days before arrival
✔ The full stay will be charged - No-show or early departure
✔ The full stay remains payable
Changes
Would you like to reschedule your stay? This is possible up to 30 days before arrival, subject to availability. We are happy to think along with you.
Cancellation by La Balsa
If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from offering your stay, we will contact you immediately.
You will receive a 100% refund of all payments, or you may choose new dates free of charge.
Damage & Responsibility
We operate without a security deposit, based on mutual trust.
If something is damaged during your stay, we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible. Together, we will openly review what happened and find an appropriate solution. If necessary, compensation may be discussed.
